Reports about Nokia searching for a new CEO

Nokia is one of the largest mobile phone company and they had opened a job opportunity to all qualified individuals to take the position of a chief executive or CEO. This has been done to replace the current chief executive Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo who’s facing some struggles on trying to strengthen their product in terms of technological advancement. Anyway, this rumor hasn’t been officially confirmed.

Their products are still being continuously sold on the market more than any other brands or manufacturer but the problem as I stated above is due to the technological upgrades. The other manufacturing companies such as the Apple Inc. are already running higher class of operating software on their Smartphone.

The new head of the Mobile Solutions Anssi Vanjoki committed himself to get Nokia back as the top model for the best high tech device. But can he really catch up with the other products? We do not know but let’s base the answer on their latest released item.

Moreover, Nokia is already aware about this fact a long way back before and perhaps it could just be a part of their marketing strategy. Vanjoki has even praised the N8 version which is the first Nokia’s model that has a Symbian 3 device but it’s too sad to say that he admits that it is also the last product of the N-series with such capability. He declares that they will be aiming for the Symbian 4 N-Series and according to him that there a strong possibility for the creation of this device.

Nokia are planning to make a huge change in terms of their devices and their board members are seriously discussing about these matters. Basing on this problem that they are currently facing, could it be that they need a new CEO to lead them through their success?
