All in all very nice
-By T. M. Fitterer
The Alupen is all in all a very nice tool. I got it for use with my iphone. It is made very well and has a great, solid feel in your hand. It comes with a nice leather like sleeve to store it in when not in use which is nice to protect the snazzy color finish. It's just a little over 4 inches long, so compact enough to go with the iphone, but not so small that it is difficult to use. I got it primarily to use in sketching or handwritten notes. It writes with reasonably good accuracy...definitely more precise than using a finger, though misses sometimes...and sometimes it does seem to have "dead spots" where when it hits certain parts of the screen it won't write at all. Haven't found a rhyme or reason for that yet...maybe it's where I've smudged the screen with my finger? The tip seems to be rather airy/hollow, so maybe needs a little more filler to aid in "conductivity"? But, it doesn't scratch the screen at all, and is nice if you want to limit screen smudge. This is the first stylus I've tried, so can't compare it to another, but I am happy with this purchase and would get another one because I really like the thick pencil like design and quality craftsmanship that went into this product.
It just fits perfectly in your hand
-By George Ghali
This stylus has the perfect combination of length, weight, and girth to make writing with it feel natural. I did purchase another stylus at the same time, and it's good, too, but this one just feels better overall. I was worried from other reviews that it either wouldn't be long enough (feel like a stub) or would be too fat, but both of these are just false.
Writing with it has been very accurate so far, and certainly worlds better than using my finger. I use the stylus for taking notes on my iPad in meetings. The combination is both more convenient and better for the environment than using a a standard notebook.
It's not perfect, though. The only issue with it really is that it's too fat for most pen holders (e.g. in your laptop bag), and it has no leash or other way to connect it. That just means that it has to either go straight into a bag or into a pocket. Thankfully, it does come with a leather case, which protects it in either scenario.
Overall, there are a lot of styluses to choose from, and short of trying them all, this seems like the safest bet. I don't think that you'll be disappointed with this stylus.
Helps keep my iPad screen clean

I really like this tool for my iPad touch screen. It puts less strain on my arthritic hands, it is lightweight, designed not to roll away from me when I lay it down, and best of all, it helps to keep my iPad touch screen clean. Works very well.
