Overall a great product. I have tried out the pogostick (nearly worthless), griffith's pen which is doable, and final the ALUPEN. This is the only one worth your time and money. The nib is short enough and sturdy enough so that there is limited drag when writing. The pen is larger so you are able to have the "feel" of writing. The major downfall that I have experience is with the replacement of the nib. The rubber tip has been pulled out of the pen on two separate occasions based on a design flaw in their carrying case. However, I was able to 'reinstall' the nib with little problem. With this being the case, it would be more cost effective to sell replacement nibs for pennies on the dollar vice having to buy another complete pen.

In short, this is the only pen you will need to write with. As a student, I have completely op checked the alupen... it works.

This is a great writing stylus for the Ipad my only complaint it does not have a strap or clip so you can attach it to the Ipad or the case.

I spent quite awhile looking for a stylus as soon as I got my iPad 2 because, unless I'm typing, I find it much easier and the fingertip prints on the screen drive me insane. There are lots of products and price ranges out there and after all the cash I dished out for the iPad, I was being leery. This analysis/review below gave me all the unbiased info I needed about all the different brands and styles I had encountered. The favored version was certainly the Alupen and although some are turned off by it's design, I like the weight and the graphite feel of it.


I love this stylus, it fits perfectly in my case, is extremely responsive on the screen and the rubberized tip makes me feel more secure about my screen. I use the sketchbook app frequently with it and have no complaints...other than you have to learn not to rest your writing hand on the screen, but that's a user flaw in itself.
