Boost Mobile Samsung Seek Phone Review

This mobile phone comes with the sliding style design where you get to input the character of your message through the Qwerty Keyboard or on the Touch screen. Its best feature is the Built-in Camera which allows you to capture good quality of images.

Boost Mobile Samsung also offers the users to use Bluetooth function where you can transfer files to another phone. Other than the Bluetooth and Camera are the built-in Music Player, MMS, SMS, Touch Screen, MP3 Ring Tones, GPS, Web Browsing and Speaker Phone.

Review:

I will start my review by discussing the good part of this phone:

The sliding part of this mobile is what makes it cool where I just can’t get my hand off-it from continuously flipping it open and close. Anyway, it is a very good exercise for your fingers.

Through the use of this phone for calling purposes for more than an hour period or playing games for entertainment, I have observed that the battery could last long enough which is a good part of the phone. You do not need to bring with you an extra battery to back-up your phone in times of travelling to a certain place where you have no means of charging your phone back to life.

The Voice Recognition of this phone is excellent. If you do not know this function, it simply allows you to dial a number through your voice. This is very useful if you often call somebody urgently.

Playing music is good on this phone where you can adjust the volume of the speaker to output a louder sound. You just have to make sure that you are not disturbing anyone around. The best place to use this function is on your room where you are alone.

Now, for the negative part:

The camera is not that good enough. It maybe 1.3 Megapixel but the shutter speed is very slow which goes the same with the sensitivity. The result of taking a picture will provide some blurry shots if your hands aren’t stable enough to handle the phone.

Browsing the internet is possible on this mobile unit but the problem is that cookies are not save which means that you have to login again on a certain website that you have previously visited. You can open your Facebook account, Twitter and other social networking communities but through the browser and not an application.

Downloading any files from the web is disabled which is the worst part of the phone. This includes images that you simply want save and use for your theme or display.

You can play any MP3 files but you cannot assign them to be your ringtones.
