The Plantronics lightweight headset is made to free your hands as you drive or utilize a wireless phone. Although the unit's noise-canceling microphone helps it be particularly ideal for calls placed over a mobile phone, it is also suitable for use with conventional office phones.

Plantronics Mobile Convertible Headset M175C |
Features:
1.) Inline volume and mute control
2.) Designed for the demands of an active lifestyle
3.) Comfortable, adjustable headband
4.) Noise-canceling microphone for crystal-clear calls
5.) Easy hands-free conversation; supports safer driving
Recipients in our phone calls noted absolutely no troublesome disruptions or distortions through conversation, and audio quality on our end was very clear as well, if a bit muffled. The headset is most effective on phones that include good volume adjustments, since the microphone adjust switch increases and reduces the volume in a very narrow range.
The M175 also offers the awesome feature of transforming from a headband to an over-the-ear-style headset. However, this also tends to make a somewhat flimsy design. Pieces quickly started falling off the device as soon as we taken off it from the packaging, although snapping the parts back in place required little effort.
Review:
I must use a headset All the time for both my cordless and cellular phones simply because I've permanent nerve damage in my neck and right shoulder from a car crash, that stops me from positioning a phone to my ear for some little time. Therefore, I've been through over 15 headphones considering my car accident in 2000. Not one of them have EVER held up more time than 4 months! It isn't that I "abuse" the headphones, it is exactly that I personally use them whenever I use a telephone. It did not seem to matter whether I sat still when using the headsets, or whether I walked and transferred around alot when using them - they ALL started to malfunction within only 4 months of having and using them. There's nothing more frustrating than being on a headset in the middle of a phone conversation and all you could pick up is a noisy crackling disturbance and the person's voice with whom you're talking to, cutting in and out.
This is my Fourth Plantronics headset. I have 2 Plantronics M175's, and 2 Plantronics M170's. I have had the M175's for over 8 months and the M170's for over SIXTEEN months! Every one of them work so wonderfully, that completely noone can tell I am just using a headset when I am speaking with them on the phone. As a matter of fact, my own husband didn't believe I was using the M175 when I was on my cellular phone - OUTSIDE! Plantronics is actually the best choice in headphones for a good reason - they're one of the most reputable and best performing headphones currently available! I suggest the M175 and M170 Plantronics' headphones to anyone who needs or wants a headset for their cordless and cellular phones. I really hope this review was useful to you in your buying decision.
