Review:

I purchased this toy for my 10 month old. We played with it inside store and she definitely enjoyed it. The way the eyes open up once you flip the phone open, the photo of Elmo and Dorothy, etc. are all very adorable. My 1 issue is that after getting rid of the "volume control" tab in the back of the cell phone, the volume plummeted. Currently, I'm a mother that completely hates noisy kiddie toys. Most electronic children's toys are too noisy, in my opinion. But this mobile phone isn't even at a nice, silent level. The volume is just way too minimal. There's a note in the directions that suggests that the volume is supposed to be reduced after the tab is taken off, and that the phone isn't malfunctioning when this happens. We got the toy to the grocery store and can hardly hear it at all. My relative has this exact same toy and the volume is equivalent to ours. It could have been better if FP place a manual volume control about the toy instead. Bottom line: although entertaining, the toy must be enjoyed in a very peaceful room just to be heard.
